This procedure is not appropriate to treat moderate to severe wrinkles; these are best treated with fillers.

What to expect during your consultation
During your Botox consultation, we will discuss the benefits of Botox and how it can help achieve your skin-rejuvenation goals. Tell us about your skincare routine, along with any medications or supplements you are currently taking; certain medications and supplements can result in increased post-treatment bruising and must be avoided.

What to expect with Botox
Botox sessions are simple and quick, generally lasting 15 to 30 minutes depending on the areas being treated. What is Dysport?
Dysport is another botulinum toxin injectable neuromodulator that gets rid of your fine lines and wrinkles to help you achieve smoother skin. It is approved for the glabellar lines, which are the lines between your eyebrows. It is meant for patients who have moderate or severe glabella lines. Touchups will be needed after about 3 to 6 months similar to the other neuromodulators.
What is aftercare like?
The patient can go home right after their Botox or Dysport treatment. Specific aftercare instructions will be provided, including information regarding when it is appropriate to resume strenuous physical activities.
Similarly to other injectable treatments, minor swelling, redness, and/or discomfort may be experienced after the Botox or Dysport treatment. These issues will be temporary and will fade shortly. It is important to avoid exercising immediately after coming in for your treatment.
Although there is no recovery time required, the patient must avoid putting pressure or heat on the treated area for the first few hours. Massaging the treated area is also prohibited to avoid spreading the Botox or Dysport solution to unwanted areas.
When will I see results?
Botox/Dysport initial results are typically visible within one to two days of treatment, with improvements lasting around three to six months.
