Our Rosacea Treatment

What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a common skin condition in which redness and visible blood vessels flare up in your face and cheeks. This condition may also cause uncomfortable small red pus-filled bumps. Men tend to experience rosacea and its redness around the nose, while women develop these symptoms on the cheeks and chin.

Some signs of rosacea are facial redness, swollen, red bumps, eye problems, or the enlargement of the nose.

What Causes Rosacea?

The fundamental cause of rosacea is unknown, but it is likely due to both environmental and hereditary factors. Those at risk of contracting rosacea are females over the age of 30 with fair, light skin. Those with a family history of rosacea also may be predisposed.

Rosacea causing flare-ups may include spicy foods, alcoholic beverages, extreme temperature changes, stress, or faulty cosmetic products.
